A home away from home for all the family to enjoy secluded countryside living – that’s how we like to think of the Mocketts Farm holiday cottages. Hidden in the hamlet of Harty on our working family farm, here is the escapism you’ve been looking for.

Managed by us since 2010, the holiday cottages provide the perfect mix of countryside and coastline; set between two wetland bird reserves and a stone’s throw from the Swale estuary, it’s an idyllic setting for a back-to-nature escape or a celebratory get together with all the family.

Family-Run Holiday Cottages

Alex and Victoria Burden are members of a third-generation farming family in Harty working in livestock and arable farming since the 1960s, lending one of their many working farms in the area as the location for these converted barns and a welcoming farmhouse.

Just a short walk away, you can enjoy home grown produce from the kitchen garden, Harty beef from our family farm, grazed on the neighbouring Emley Nature Reserve, locally sourced beer, wine and spirits, or relax in the treatment rooms with a massage.
