Find Us

Here at Harty we we have true edge-of-the-world vibes, but that doesn’t mean we’re not easy to reach! You’ll find us just 60 minutes from London and with great road and rail connections to the wider area.

Travelling by car

The Isle of Sheppey is easily reached by the A249 ‘Sheppey Crossing’, a dual carriageway road bridge connecting our unique corner of Kent to the rest of the county. You can join the A249 from the M2/A2 from London and the M20 motorway.

Once over the crossing follow signs to ‘Leysdown’ and enjoy the countryside vistas unfolding all around you. You’ll find our rural retreat about 3 miles down the Harty Ferry Road – crossing the road causeway that gives Harty an ‘isle’ status all its own.

Don’t forget to look out for the local inhabitants! Horses, ponies, sheep, a wide variety of birds and furry critters all call Harty home and are easy to spot on an enjoyable country drive down to us.
