The first feature that draws your eye is Fleet Lodge’s large and beautiful arched windows looking out from the honey-stone bricks. These are your ‘eyes’ out over the farm-scapes, inviting Mother Nature from the outside in, as natural light and beautiful scenery flood the large, open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Making up the majority of the ground floor, your party can come together in sociable style, whether mingling in the kitchen over a morning cuppa, enjoying lunch around the spacious dining suite or relaxing in front of the TV. At the end of a memorable day exploring this idyllic corner of Kent, retire to one of three bedrooms – cosy, comfortable and just the spot to recharge the batteries ready for another day....
Fleet Lodge is the quintessential country cottage – hardwood floors, rustic woods and a charming simplicity in its style that makes no compromise on comfort. The kitchen is part of the heart of the home – warm, welcoming and well kitted out with all you need to make meals worthy of any farmhouse kitchen. Serve from kitchen counter to dining suite, where a large square table offers plenty of space for your party to dine together while taking in the views – a feast for the eyes as well!
Meanwhile the open plan living area is centred around a flatscreen TV, with plenty of space for an additional sofa bed should you need one. Large enough to be airy, but with an intimate and sociable vibe, Fleet Lodge is a beautiful bolthole to spend quality time together with friends and family.
A WC makes up the rest of the ground floor, while upstairs are three bedrooms – one with an ensuite and the remaining two sharing a bathroom. Each room can be set up as a double or twin, so whatever your party make up, the rooms can be adapted to your needs. Simple in style, yet big on comfort, they offer the perfect respite to groups looking to holiday together, while retaining just the right amount of personal privacy.
You’ll also enjoy the rest of the Mocketts Farm complex, with a large shared games room providing endless entertainment – and perhaps a touch of friendly family rivalry? Meanwhile the great outdoors is just that, with a BBQ fire pit, sun loungers and outdoor furniture letting you fully appreciate the country tranquillity and beautiful views. With a large dog exercise paddock*, even the four-legged family members are catered for.
And what country stay would be complete without a good pub? Just down the road is our award restaurant and treatment rooms, The Ferry House. Here you can tuck in to much that’s homegrown, farmed and foraged from right here in Harty, or enjoy a luxurious massage. Why not both?
